This race was one of my favorites so far. It was very well organized, and the shirts/finishers pullover/socks were some of the best things I've got in a race. All the volunteers were super polite and helpful. Can't wait until next year!

Thanks for a fantastic experience! The 50K course offered plenty of challenges and great views. The trails were well marked and I appreciated the holiday touches on the mileage markers (Santa hats, wrapping paper, North Pole signs, etc.) Everyone at the Aid Stations were very friendly and helpful and the foods and beverages offered most appreciated. Your race was well organized, from the website updates through the entire event day. It was my first 50K event, and it was everything I had hoped it would be. Well done!

What an incredible experience-challenging as all get outbut beautiful and rewarding. The support, food (loved the potato logs), the great technical shirts, all of it-thanks to those of you out there so we could have this experience. I thought the race was very well organized. All the volunteers was very nice. The food after the race was outstanding. I love trail running because I feel like there is a different group of runners that run trails and everyone seems to be more polite and helpful. I thought the trail itself was in great shape and the lake was beautiful. I will definitely do this race again next year. The shirts that we received was the best.

Loved the trails and the weather was perfect for a long distance race. Well organized with great food and prizes. If registration for 2010 was available today, I'd be typing in my credit card # right now to make sure I got a spot.

An excellent, well-organized race. This was my first trail race and ultra (50k). The trails were marked well, the aide stations were stocked with everything we could possibly need (including toilet paper) and the food at the end was excellent. The course was challenging, but why run a race if you are not going to be challenged. I was a little nervous with it being my first race and theirs, but everything went so very well. Thank you for a great memory for a first race. I hope to run this race in years to come.

A very well-run race! The trail was very enjoyable and well-groomed with many beautiful views of the lake. I even saw three deer! The aid stations were well-stocked and frequent enough. I would recommend this race to any trail lover.
